Our outdoor teak is treated with an environmentally friendly, water-based solution with silicon vitriol as the active ingredient. This gives it the gray color from the start. Due to the different structure in the wood, the table absorbs the agent differently, which can cause small color differences between different tables.

The treatment will gradually fade and the natural patina will be highlighted and the piece of furniture will then retain its silver-grey, natural colour. In some cases, penetrations of sap and resin from the wood may appear on the surface. These appear as yellowish spots on the table and are completely normal and will disappear over time.

During winter storage, keep the furniture dry and free from temperature fluctuations. If the furniture is stored in damp and poorly ventilated conditions, mold can form on the wood, which is difficult to remove.
