• Leather: The Carlos chair is made of premium top grain buffalo leather, which is processed using traditional artisanal methods in Italy. The Buffalo leather is a unique vintage leather that undergoes multiple treatment steps to give it a natural, aged look that shows features such as healed scars, scratches and wrinkles.
• Frame: The frame and legs are made of black metal, which gives the chair stability and a modern, industrial look.
• Upholstery: The seat and backrest are filled with cold-molded foam and synthetic fibers, which ensures particularly high seating comfort.

Care instructions: To preserve the color and function of the leather, regular care is necessary:

4. Small scratches can be removed by gently rubbing with a clean finger.

To maintain the quality of the leather, clean and treat it regularly:

• Clean it approx. 6-12 times per year with a "Soft Cleaner".
• Take care of it 2-4 times a year with a “Leather Protection Cream”.

Artwood is a furniture wholesale company founded in 1969 by childhood friends Ingemar Johanson and Lars Eliasson. The company's origins lie in a barn in Härryda, outside Gothenburg, where Johanson and Eliasson shared their passion for furniture trading. With experience in the furniture trade and a focus on Eastern Europe, they began their business, which later included trading with Asia in the late 1970s.

In 1976, new manufacturing facilities were built in Skene, where Artwood is now located. After Lars Eliasson sold his share in the company to Ingemar Johanson in 1981, Johanson ran the company as a family business until his retirement in 2001. Management of the company then passed to Ingemar's daughter Anna-Carin Bengtsson, who bought out the remaining family members in 2017.

Artwood's collection mainly includes its own design, which is produced worldwide. The range extends to furniture and furnishing details for the entire home, all in a timeless and classic design. The company emphasizes environmental awareness and ensures that production complies with various regulations.
