Each piece of leather is 14-stage tanning process treated, including sand polishing and the use of natural oils to achieve a beautiful finish. The leather is not varnished, but only given a thin layer of wax that protects it from stains while still remaining breathable.
• Frame: The frame consists of solid wood, plywood and Nozag springswhich are wrapped with polyester fibers.
• Legs: The legs are made of black wood with a black metal base.
• Upholstery: Seat and back are with cold foam, feathers and synthetic fibers to ensure maximum comfort.

• Do not place the chair in direct sunlight or near heat sourcesto avoid discoloration and drying out.
• To maintain the shape and appearance, the cushions should be fluffed regularly and lightly padded to evenly distribute the filling. On some models, the cushions can be removed and turned over.
• Cleaning and care: The leather must be cleaned and re-greased regularly to preserve its characteristics. Clean the chair approx. 6-12 times per year with a soft cleaner and treat the leather 2-4 times a year with a leather protection cream.

Artwood is a furniture wholesale company founded in 1969 by childhood friends Ingemar Johanson and Lars Eliasson. The company's origins lie in a barn in Härryda, outside Gothenburg, where Johanson and Eliasson shared their passion for furniture trading. With experience in the furniture trade and a focus on Eastern Europe, they began their business, which later included trading with Asia in the late 1970s.

In 1976, new manufacturing facilities were built in Skene, where Artwood is now located. After Lars Eliasson sold his share in the company to Ingemar Johanson in 1981, Johanson ran the company as a family business until his retirement in 2001. Management of the company then passed to Ingemar's daughter Anna-Carin Bengtsson, who bought out the remaining family members in 2017.
