Product description
The Palermo Console Table in Charcoal is a timeless, generously sized piece of outdoor furniture. Made from teak, the console table exudes a classic style that suits both modern and traditional settings.
Material: Teak is a wood with particularly good properties for the manufacture of furniture and furnishings. It is hard, heavy, elastic and contains oil, which makes it very resistant to moisture and impact. We only use wood from plantations in Indonesia for our teak products. Cracks can occur.
Untreated teak gradually changes colour from its initial honey colour to a silver grey when exposed to the elements outdoors. Our outdoor teak furniture is treated with an environmentally friendly, water-based solution containing silicon vitriol as the active ingredient. This gives it its grey colour from the start. The different structure of the wood means that the table absorbs the treatment differently and therefore slight colour differences between tables may occur.
The treatment will gradually fade and the natural patina will be highlighted, allowing the furniture to retain its silvery grey natural colour. In some cases, penetrations of resin and resin may appear on the surface. These appear as yellowish spots on the table and are completely normal and will disappear over time.
Dimensions:

- Width: 40 cm

Care instructions: To prevent mold growth, it is important to clean the furniture regularly. When cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth together with mild soap. Do not use strong cleaning agents.
The furniture should be treated with "Teak Shield" a few times a year to maintain protection against stains and water. The treatment helps prevent stains while maintaining the natural look of the surface and allowing moisture to pass through. With built-in mold inhibitor. The treatment also maintains the beautiful gray teak color for longer.
During winter storage, place the furniture in a dry place, free from temperature fluctuations. If stored in a damp and poorly ventilated place, mold can form on the wood, which is difficult to remove.

About Artwood
Artwood is a furniture wholesale company founded in 1969 by childhood friends Ingemar Johanson and Lars Eliasson. The company's origins lie in a barn in Härryda, outside Gothenburg, where Johanson and Eliasson shared their passion for furniture trading. With experience in the furniture trade and a focus on Eastern Europe, they began their business, which later included trading with Asia in the late 1970s.
In 1976, new manufacturing facilities were built in Skene, where Artwood is now located. After Lars Eliasson sold his share in the company to Ingemar Johanson in 1981, Johanson ran the company as a family business until his retirement in 2001. Management of the company then passed to Ingemar's daughter Anna-Carin Bengtsson, who bought out the remaining family members in 2017.
Artwood's collection mainly includes its own design, which is produced worldwide. The range extends to furniture and furnishing details for the entire home, all in a timeless and classic design. The company emphasizes environmental awareness and ensures that production complies with various regulations. The furniture is made with care and consideration for the environment and the people who make it, resulting in long-lasting products that last for generations and enable diverse ensembles.
