Product description

The Dacota coffee table is the perfect addition to your glassed-in patio or veranda. With its straight lines, it blends seamlessly into many different environments.

Materials: The furniture is mainly made of natural materials such as granite powder, cement, natural jute fibers and water. The concrete is porous and is treated with wax after completion to provide active protection against stains. Color variations may occur. Since the concrete is poured by hand, the thickness of the furniture may vary slightly, which may also cause the height to be slightly different.

The concrete tables can be used outdoors in the summer. However, please note that tables with a bowl-shaped surface must not be left with water in them or stored outside in the winter.

The Dacota series is available as a coffee table and side table.

Dimensions:

  • Height: 42 cm
  • Width: 60 cm
  • Length: 60 cm

Weight:

  • Weight: 38 kg

Care instructions: Clean the furniture with a mild detergent and water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or cleaners that contain bleach or ammonia. We recommend not using commercial cleaners (which are often citrus-based) as they may contain acid that can damage the concrete. Simple soft soapy water, green or yellow, is an excellent cleaner for concrete as the soap also greases the concrete.

The furniture should be treated with wax within the first two months after purchase and then every three to six months, depending on use and placement.

We recommend that our customers treat their table tops regularly as the surface treatment wears off over time. Be especially careful with new table tops as they are still in the intensive curing phase and the risk of stains is higher during this time. If the furniture is used outdoors, the surface treatment is even more important as moisture can penetrate the concrete. During the summer this is not a problem, but when the furniture is exposed to moisture and it gets cold, cracks and chips can appear in the concrete. This damage will not be accepted as a claim! Therefore, it is important to treat the furniture regularly to protect it.

Important note: This piece of furniture is suitable for use in covered outdoor areas.

Before winter storage, it is very important that the furniture is saturated with oil to prevent moisture from penetrating the concrete and causing damage. Regular olive oil can be used. Use a regular cloth and continue treating the furniture until the concrete is no longer absorbed and saturated.

Remember not to cover the concrete with plastic or tarpaulins and do not leave anything on the surface, such as pots or other furniture. Make sure snow and ice do not accumulate and remain on the concrete surfaces. Store furniture under cover and frost-free.

About Artwood

Artwood is a furniture wholesale company founded in 1969 by childhood friends Ingemar Johanson and Lars Eliasson. The company's origins lie in a barn in Härryda, outside Gothenburg, where Johanson and Eliasson shared their passion for furniture trading. With experience in the furniture trade and a focus on Eastern Europe, they began their business, which later included trading with Asia in the late 1970s.

In 1976, new manufacturing facilities were built in Skene, where Artwood is now located. After Lars Eliasson sold his share in the company to Ingemar Johanson in 1981, Johanson ran the company as a family business until his retirement in 2001. Management of the company then passed to Ingemar's daughter Anna-Carin Bengtsson, who bought out the remaining family members in 2017.

Artwood's collection mainly includes its own design, which is produced worldwide. The range extends to furniture and furnishing details for the entire home, all in a timeless and classic design. The company emphasizes environmental awareness and ensures that production complies with various regulations. The furniture is made with care and consideration for the environment and the people who make it, resulting in long-lasting products that last for generations and enable diverse ensembles.
