The Hibis chandelier is inspired by an early example of a so-called Composite capitals from the Temple of Amun in Hibis. This historical model combines papyrus and foxtail motifs and represents the harmonious connection of botanical ornamentation with architectural rigor.
The vertical rhythm and organic design language of this ancient element have been reinterpreted by Eichholtz and translated into a contemporary lamp that combines Egyptian design history with modern craftsmanship.
