Product description
The Dacota is an ideal coffee table for your glazed terrace or patio. With its straight lines, it adapts to many different environments.
Material and design: The table is mainly made of natural materials such as granite powder, cement, natural jute fibers and water. The concrete is porous and is treated with wax after production to provide active protection against stains. Color variations may occur because the concrete is poured by hand and the thickness may vary slightly. Therefore, the height may vary slightly between individual pieces of furniture.
Outdoor use: The concrete furniture can be used outdoors in summer. However, please note that tables with a bowl-shaped surface should not be left filled with water or stored outdoors in winter. Note: Not all concrete furniture is suitable for outdoor use.
Series variants: The Dacota series is available as a coffee table and side table.
Dimensions:
- Height: 42 cm
- Width: 90 cm
- Length: 90 cm
Weight:
- Weight: 68 kg
Care Instructions: Clean the coffee table with a mild detergent and water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or cleaning products that contain bleach or ammonia. Regular cleaning products (often citrus-based) can contain acid that can damage the concrete. Simple green or yellow soapy water is an excellent cleaner for the concrete as it also degreases the concrete.
The piece of furniture should be treated with wax within the first two months after purchase and then every three to six months, depending on use and location. We recommend "Spray Wax" from Leather Master.
We recommend that our customers treat their table tops in this way regularly, as the surface treatment wears off over time. You should be especially careful with new table tops, as they are still in the intensive curing phase and the risk of stains is higher. If the furniture is used outdoors, the surface layer is even more important, as moisture can penetrate the concrete. During the summer this is not a problem, but if the furniture is exposed to moisture in combination with cold, cracks and chipping can occur in the concrete. This damage is not considered a reason for complaint! Therefore, it is important that the furniture is treated regularly to protect it.
During production, the wood is treated with oil and it is necessary to continue oiling the wood to keep it in good condition. If the furniture is outdoors, oiling is necessary several times a year. Make sure the wood is dry and clean before oiling. Continue oiling until the surface is saturated and the wood no longer absorbs oil. Wipe off any excess oil with a cloth. Remember to protect the substrate before and after treatment. We recommend "Furniture Oil" from Leathermaster Scandinavia. Read the instructions carefully before using the oil.
Before winter storage, it is very important that the piece of furniture is saturated with oil to prevent moisture from penetrating the concrete and causing damage. Regular olive oil can be used. Use a regular cloth and continue treating the piece of furniture until the concrete stops absorbing oil and is saturated.
Do not cover the concrete with plastic or tarpaulin and do not leave anything on the surface, such as pots or other furniture. Make sure that snow and ice cannot accumulate and remain on the concrete surfaces. Store the furniture under a roof and frost-free.

About Artwood
Artwood is a furniture wholesale company founded in 1969 by childhood friends Ingemar Johanson and Lars Eliasson. The company's origins lie in a barn in Härryda, outside Gothenburg, where Johanson and Eliasson shared their passion for furniture trading. With experience in the furniture trade and a focus on Eastern Europe, they began their business, which later included trading with Asia in the late 1970s.
In 1976, new manufacturing facilities were built in Skene, where Artwood is now located. After Lars Eliasson sold his share in the company to Ingemar Johanson in 1981, Johanson ran the company as a family business until his retirement in 2001. Management of the company then passed to Ingemar's daughter Anna-Carin Bengtsson, who bought out the remaining family members in 2017.
Artwood's collection mainly includes its own design, which is produced worldwide. The range extends to furniture and furnishing details for the entire home, all in a timeless and classic design. The company emphasizes environmental awareness and ensures that production complies with various regulations. The furniture is made with care and consideration for the environment and the people who make it, resulting in long-lasting products that last for generations and enable diverse ensembles.
